Why you may have heard from Riley

Selective outreach, explained.

Riley acquires and holds domain names. He may contact a company where a domain he owns or is authorised to represent appears to have a specific, plausible commercial use.

Research, not affiliation

The outreach is independent. It does not mean Riley is affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for the recipient’s company.

No obligation

A recipient is free to ignore the message. No company is required to respond or acquire a domain.

No defensive pressure

Outreach should not imply that a company must buy a domain to protect its brand, prevent a competitor from using it, or avoid a threat.

Ownership or authority

Riley will discuss only a domain he owns or is authorised to represent. A prospective buyer may request reasonable confirmation before proceeding.

Contact preferences

A recipient may ask Riley to stop or limit future outreach at any time.
